TAROT ‘Undead Indeed’ DVD Details

TAROT — the Finnish group led by NIGHTWISH/ex-SINERGY bassist Marco Hietala — will release the two-DVD and two-CD versions of “Undead Indeed” in Finland on June 11.

“Undead Indeed” was filmed/recorded on August 17, 2007 at club Rupla in Kuopio, Finland with director Harri Mielonen. (more…)

POISON Drummer RIKKI ROCKETT Exonerated Of Mississippi Rape Charge

POISON drummer Rikki Rockett’s MySpace blog has been updated with the following:

POISON drummer Rikki Rockett was exonerated of a felony rape charge filed in Mississippi stemming from a September 23, 2007 incident in which a Neshoba County, Mississippi woman claimed that Rockett had forcibly raped her.

Drummer ASGEIR MICKELSON Quits BORKNAGAR

Guitar player/main composer Øystein G. Brun of Norway’s BORKNAGAR has issued the following statement:

KHOLD New Album “Hundre År Gammal” In June

Northern Metal webzine is reporting that, reactivated Norwegian cult act Khold is back after a short break. Since their debut release in 2001, the excellent album “Masterpiss Of Pain“, Khold has established themselves as a leading force within the Black Metal genre. By fronting a raw, primitive and obscure playing style, they have earned excellent feedback on all continents, and due to excessive touring the band have build up a solid fanbase.

Khold hits tight as clenched fists, and you are bound to enjoy their crunchy mid-paced black/doom compositions. Khold’s fifth opus is entitled “Hundre År Gammal” and will be released on June 9th via Norwegian Tabu Records. (more…)

HACRIDE ‘Perturbed’ Live Video

French modern extreme metal band HACRIDE has posted a live video for the song “Perturbed”. The track comes off the group’s second album, “Amoeba”, which was released last year through Listenable Records. Watch the clip below.

“Amoeba” was produced by Franck Hueso and was mastered by J-P Bouquet. The CD “is at the same time progressive, extreme and open-minded, which was futher proven and strenghtened by the collaboration with the band and the néo-flamenco outfit OJOS DE BRUJO,” according to a press release.” (more…)
