Dutch death metallers THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT have posted two songs from their forthcoming album, “Triumvirate”, online. Check out the tracks “Wrath Of The Ba’ath” and “Deus Ex Machina” below.
TO-MERA is the U.K.-based dark progressive metal band formed by former WITHOUT FACE vocalist Julie Kiss and bassist Lee Barrett (ex-EXTREME NOISE TERROR, DISGUST, MUSSOLINI HEADKICK), has posted another new track, entitled “Inside the Hourglass” online. The song comes off the group’s sophomore album, “Delusions”, due on February 18, 2008 via Candlelight Records.

Finnish metallers KALMAH entered the studio on October 13 to begin recording their fifth full-length album. An early 2008 release is expected.
Commented guitarist Antti Kokko: “Everything is now recorded and we will start mixing at the beginning of 2008. I guess it will take one-two weeks to get all done. This album will be guitar-driven, raw-sounding, more riff-oriented but melodic, as KALMAH album always is. The band is very pleased with the result and I guess we are doing the best album so far. I know it is a cliché to say so, but I believe we are damn right about it!” (more…)

Last Thursday (13th Dec) was a no miss for all hardcore fans. After an year of absence from the Bucharest concert area, ALTAR had come back.
Suburbia Club was not so full before the opening acts. However the crowd got bigger as First Division and Proof made themselves heard. Moshing, headbanging, pogo with a little help from Proof’s lead singer warmed up the spirits for ALTAR.

Prosthetic Records is proud to announce Houston-based instrumental progressive quartet SCALE THE SUMMIT as the latest addition to the label’s roster. Formed in Los Angeles in 2004, the band has previously released the self-financed full-length, Monument, which has been receiving positive press worldwide. SCALE THE SUMMIT is currently continuing to work on new material for the forthcoming Prosthetic Records debut, which is tentatively scheduled for a late 2008 release.
