The new AMORPHIS album and second release with vocalist Tomi Joutsen comes a year and a half after their previous record, “Eclipse”. This somewhat short amount of time didn’t predict a continuance of the style we found on “Eclipse” as we are talking about a band that has been relentlessly changing its style with each album for the past 12 years. It seems though that AMORPHIS finally found what they were looking for. The style of their previous album is kept on “Silent Waters”. It’s like part II of the story, like “Eclipse” was the fire and “Silent Waters” what else but the water. They are similar, yet the mood is completely antagonistic. (more…)

LAKE Of TEARS performed for the second time in Romania, on september 8th, as headliners for the LOT of RAGE event produced by Metalfan. The venue, “Arenele Romane” - an open-air amphitheater alike enclosure, detained almost 3.000 headbangers. The crowd, mostly knowing what to expect, joyfully saluted sweedish metallers’ act, which featured no less than twenty one songs, from almost entire discography, such as Headstones, A Crimson Cosmos, Forever Autumn -the crowd just loved this part, The Neonai, Black Brick Road, and of course, the latest Moons And Mushrooms.
