Here is an interview took by METALCHARGE’s editor, Hiisi to Norway’s gothic metallers, THEATRE OF TRAGEDY. Nell, Frank and Lorentz talked about the new album, the new direction took after Liv Kristine’s departure, their show expectations and more.

Hiisi: Has it been difficult for you to replace Liv Kristine?
Nell: Yes and no. I have, actually had a couple of nightmares, real nightmares, waking up and Huh!, I was shocked, someone in the audience just shot me. But no, it hasn’t been a terrible experience, it was really nice because (of) the audience, they treated me really good.

“Songwriting for EDENBRIDGE’s sixth studio album has just been finished. The band will enter the studio on September 19 to start the recordings. Mix is scheduled for early January and the album will be released in April/May 2008. Some of the new songs are titled ‘Undying Devotion’, ‘Fallen from Grace’, ‘Place of Higher Power’, ‘Whale Rider’ and ‘Remember Me’. All in all, the album will contain 10 songs plus intro. Gnostic, the Atlanta, Georgia-based band featuring original Atheist drummer Steve Flynn alongside Chris Baker and Sonny Carson (who handled the guitar duties on the Atheist reunion tour this past year), will record its debut CD at Ledbelly Studios in Atlanta September 22-29. The group, which is rounded out by Stephen Morley on bass, and Kevin Freeman on vocals, has enlisted Atheist/Neurotica frontman Kelly Shaefer to co-produce as well as make an appearance on the album.
