San Diego, California-based death metal/grindcore trio PATHOLOGY has announced the addition of singer/second guitarist Mason Gregory (ELEMENT) to the group’s ranks. The band says, “We have been working hard perfecting our sound and preparing for shows and tours. . . Levi Fuselier (DISGORGE) will no longer be doing the vocals for PATHOLOGY. We appreciate his time and effort and wish him the best of luck in the future.”
You can listen to a brand new LANFEAR track, “Enter Dystopia”. The song comes off the German power metal band’s fifth album, “X to the Power of Ten”, which is scheduled for release on August 22 via Locomotive Records.

A brand new FALCONER track entitled “Man Of The Hour” can be listened below. The song comes off the Swedish metal band’s new album, “Among Beggars And Thieves”, which is scheduled for release in August via Metal Blade Records. The CD was recorded at Andy La Rocque’s (KING DIAMOND) Sonic Train Studio in Varberg, Sweden. 13 songs were mixed during the sessions, including two bonus tracks for the LP’s first edition.

…There are reference marks permanently gravitating around us, references that can feed/hydrate our inner part at any stage, the part within us that is knowingly (or not) letting itself to be dominated, even assimilated, by the external, day to day side of us… and so, it is getting harder to find time to offer ourselves the gift of living for something: music, theatre, poetry, photography, graphic art and performances of sorts… all meaning ART! It was rather surprising that Septic Flesh (now Septicflesh for some reason) disbanded after releasing probably their best album since their debut in Sumerian Daemons. Now, five years later, they re-emerge into the metal scene with their own, rather unique take on bombastic orchestrated death metal. (more…)
